Wounds that stem from the Mother (feminine polarity) define how we view ourselves in the world, how we obtain safety, how we express emotions, how we adapt to change, and most importantly: how we bond with others, because it is our first interaction with the world. Early abandonment and neglect (whether physical or emotional), leads to forming a model of the world based on mistrust, instead of healthy bonding and a healthy appreciation of oneself. The imprint of unprocessed grief can also disable the healthy development of a child.
Enmeshment trauma on the other hand, helicopter parenting, manipulation and emotional abuse lead the child to patterns of codependency and not having a clear sense of self around others, making them prone to lifelong abuse. This is due to being raised with no right to boundaries, only to serve a parent's agenda to feel good about themselves, seen as supply, and filled with the burden of expectations which suppress the healthy development of their own unique true self.
This book is for children who are suffering silent battles from changing caregivers or are left with a single parent, and have recently undergone the loss of a Mother physically (passing) or emotionally (separation), and also for those that went through emotionally abusive situations, which have scarred them. They help the child grieve the loss of the mother they no longer have either symbolically (in the case where their needs were never met) or physically (loss of a mother they did love and now feel alone and unprotected in the world). With the stories of 6 magical and alienated children who underwent loss, abandonment and hardship, the child will start validating their own silent wounds and building baby steps of envisioning a brighter future for themselves too, while creating deeper bonding with the alternative caregiver too.
