Angry Granny is back again, and in this adventure, her family takes her along on a vacation to the Emerald Beaches in Florida. Six months before, Granny had to move in with them because she couldn’t live alone any longer, but Granny, her son and daughter-in-law, and grandkids soon learned that the transition -and Granny’s hilarious behavior- would be a little challenging.
In this second book, Granny’s sister, Fanny, invited them down to visit her on the beach. It was an exciting trip in a number of ways including Granny’s moving walkway mishap, her sitting on a “monster” sea turtle, and, of course, her continual inability to think before she speaks. Granny is known for enthusiastically calling almost anyone an a**hole. But, when her grandson thinks she might not live with them any longer, he realizes just how much he might miss her farting and snoring, and even her potty mouth.
This is the second book in the laugh-out-loud Angry Granny series. School age readers and their parents won’t want to miss joining the family on this comical beach get-a-way that has a powerful and deeper message about accepting change and embracing the love of family embedded within.
